Daniel 2 Message-13.11.2022

“It was at this time that He went off to the mountain to pray, and He spent the whole night in prayer to God.”

Luke 6:12

Research shows that for an average adult, the minimum recommended hours of sleep per day is 7 hours and if we won’t have that our mental and physical health will gradually deteriorate. Ultimately our body needs rest and none can deny this. However, do we have any recommended hours for Prayer without which a believer cannot live?

We can know this from the life of Jesus. How much do we see Jesus taking rest after walking for miles and miles, going from one place to another, incessantly preaching and teaching the Word of God, healing the people.

“In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there.”

Mark 1:35

Jesus used to pray entire night to God withdrawing himself from the world to a solitary place where he can be alone with His father and intercede for people. That is what he said in Matthew 6:6 it’s our prayer in secret that will bring fruits in our lives.

Jesus knew that it’s His Personal Prayer with God, the Father, that is the vitamin and mineral of His body.  When he was to choose His 12 disciples, He “spent the night praying to God(Luke 6:12). Whether it be of taking a momentous decision or for giving thanks i.e.after He fed the 5000, He withdraws to be alone with God (Matthew 14:23), Jesus will be on His knees to seek God, the Father. How much more we should seek Him in such weighty moments in our lives!

“In the days of His flesh, He offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety.”

Hebrews 5:7

We call ourselves believer, follower and soldier of the army of our Lord Jesus Christ. The entire day we battle against devil’s schemes and devices and in doing so from where do we derive our strength? Its our constant prayers with God which fills us with a new hope, vigor and a fresh anointing. Let’s pray without ceasing (1Thessalonians 5:17) Let’s Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near. (Isaiah 55:6)

Prayer

Father draw us near to you as we fail to pray often and rely on our wisdom and strength, remind us, wake us up Lord to intercede for our people, fill us Lord with your loving kindness and mercy. As we get weary of this life, give us rest Father in your loving embrace and prepare us to march ahead so that we can finish this race and with pride we too can say of the work that you have given us- “It is Finished”.

In Jesus name we ask and pray.

Amen

Daniel 2 Message-12.11.2022

Hebrews 10:38 “But my righteousness will live by faith. And I take no pleasure
in the one who shrinks back.”

Webster’s New World College Dictionary defines faith as “unquestioning belief that does not require proof or evidence; unquestioning belief in God, religious tenets.

” All of us sit in a chair; do we ever examine the legs of the chair before sitting on it? No, we have the confidence that the chair will hold us. We never get into a flight and check whether the pilot has a license, we are confident that the pilot will reach us to the destination. By grace, through faith we have been saved ( Eph 2:8-9) God expects His children to now rely on Him in totality. He has given us the Holy Spirit who is resident in us and the Word of God which makes us more than conquerors. Hebrews 11 is the Faith Hall of Fame.

Let us look at the Father of Faith- Abraham. He was not given a google map or travel guide but God asked to step out, leave Haran, his home town and go to a place God would show him. There God promised to make him a great nation (Gen12:1-3) Abram obeyed, later he and Sarai voiced their discontent over not having an heir, God promised that the old couple would have a son of their own.

It took 24 years for the manifestation of God’s promise of a son for Abraham, at the age 99, which was impossible, but Abraham believed. Even more astounding is the display of his faith when all was going well, enjoying his time with his son and God announces that he must sacrifice his only son. Abraham without a shadow of doubt, without batting his eyelid, took his son and went off to sacrifice him, quite confident that God was well able to bring him back to life.

Gal 3:11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.

Testimony

It was 2020, I had lost my well-paying job and I was given a word that my younger son would leave for Canada for his higher studies. I laughed like Sarai since my financial doors were shut and it was impossible that he would go. I had to have radical faith , trust in Jesus and the situation taught me to exercise the same , I had to walk on water like peter and wanted to give up a million times, but for the grace of God ,his word, brought us to victory line.My son left for Toronto on the 5th of May 2022 which was nothing but impossible. Faith can bring down Jericho walls, part the Red sea, raise the death to life and our God is not pleased without faith.

Prayer

Loving heavenly Father, we pray that you will teach us to rely on You undoubtedly in all our good and bad days and know that You are the Great I AM,

In Jesus mighty name.

Amen!!

Daniel 2 Message-11.11.2022

“He must increase, but I must decrease”.
John3:30.

This verse is a few, powerful words spoken by the humble, John ,the Baptist. He knew that he was anointed by God to tell others to follow Jesus, not Him. In order to do that he must humble himself as a servant telling others to follow Jesus, rather than his own ministry. The same is true for Christ followers and leaders. Enemy is always trying to shift our focus. Others may mock and make fun of us,do not fear.
“For God has not given us the spirit of fear: but of power and of love, and of a sound mind “. (2Timothy 1:7. )John was the prophesied forerunner of The Lord. In St. John’s gospel we read that the Baptist came as a witness to testify about the light, Jesus, so that all might believe in Him .He quoted (Isaiah 40:3 , )“ I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord”. (John1:23)

John identified Jesus as the anointed Messiah, equal with the Father God. He pointed to

Christ and said “….the Lamb of God, which take away the sin of the world”. (John1:29 )and a second time told. “ Behold the Lamb of God”. (John 1:36 ).John ,the Baptist further said that he was not worthy enough to tie the sandals of Jesus. He knew that if he baptized people in water, Jesus baptizes with Holy Spirit. Our own abilities and wisdom should play a less role and should allow the grace and wisdom of Jesus to take control of our lives. He was surrendering his claim of leadership to Jesus. We also should surrender our leadership and influence of our lives to Jesus. As we grow in faith in Jesus, we should empty ourselves of all our worldly ways. We should continue to grow in Christ in every aspect. We must decrease ourselves and increase of Jesus in our lives. His Word and character should impact and influence our thoughts, words and actions. Our faith, hope and love in Christ should increase as we see the evidence of the miracles Jesus has done in our lives.

As we mature in faith, we will confess as Paul said “It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me”. (Galatians2:20. )Our own strength will decline but His strength and power working in us will increase. He deserves all the praise and glory for redeeming us who were vessels of clay in order to become vessels of honour. Our fears will decline as our faith increases. When we decrease ,we acknowledge that we are nothing without Him, “ we can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. (Philippians 4:13. )When the fruit of the Holy Spirit increase in us, we decrease and he increases in us . Our pride, arrogance, unforgiveness , boasting nature decrease and Word and deed for Christ increase.

Prayer

Heavenly Father thank you for the testimony of John the Baptist and his example of humility and grace. May I walk humbly before you all the days of my life be ready to testify that Jesus is the Saviour of the world and that He must increase and I must decrease.

                   I pray in Jesus name,

Amen.

Daniel 2 Message 10.11.2022

Gifts of Grace

We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.. Romans 12:6

Here Apostle Paul talks about gifts given to us according through His grace in Romans 12-6-8. These gifts are different to the gifts of The Holy Spirit given in 1 Cor 12. These are unique gifts given individually to all of us to live according to His will and to glorify God.

if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. Romans 12:7-8

I went to a art shop near my house and a lot tools for drawing was there. When I was there God reminded me of a Pastor who draws about the issues in the present times and adds a relevant Bible verse to it. There is a saying that “A picture is powerful than 1000 words”. There was a cartoonist in India who drew against the present government who by his drawing stirred a big thinking and awakening in people and was jailed immediately after that and made him to stop drawing anymore. He was stopped because what he drew reached out to people. A image is very powerful and the image which has a the word of God which is power and life the Pastor drew enlightened many. It is gift of Grace (drawing) given to him which he uses it for the Glory of God.

There was a post in facebook I read before. There was a couple in UK who were drug addicts. Due to their excess drug consumption the child born to them was blind. A few years later the parents died because of their addiction. The younger sister of the late mother took the kid and the kid grew up with them. They were good people in Christ and they loved the kid very much. They taught him music and to sing. The kid was touched by their selfless and caring love and they guided the kid to salvation. When he was growing up he was sad that because he is blind and couldn’t reach out to people to share the love of Christ to many so that nobody would end up like his parents. He felt his blindness was big barrier in his life and was always worried about it. One day during his prayer God spoke to him why are you worrying about what you don’t have. I have given you my gift of Grace (singing) to proclaim me. Hearing this he was awakened and he began singing for The Lord. His singing and his testimony reached out to many and he led many young teenagers into Christ.

The Bible says in Romans 12:8 “ If it is showing mercy let him do it cheerfully”. Mother Theresa had this gift of Grace helping others and showing mercy. She didn’t preach the Gospel but she lived an exemplary life reflecting the love of Christ. She still stands as an example preaching the love of Christ to the non-believers as well and to us as well to exhibit the love of Christ in our lives.

When I was in DA2 meeting back in Jan 2022 I didn’t know why I was there. I am not a good writer or a preacher of the word of God. But when I had my turn to write , God helped me with the grace he had given me to write and explain the word of God. Since then God is giving me inspirations and revelations to write for DA2 to glorify Him.

We all have various gifts of Grace in the Body of Christ. It can be administration, serving, giving to the poor. Let us use these gifts to spread the fragrance of our Lord Jesus Christ, to glorify Him and lead people to Christ. Amen.

Daniel 2 Message-09.11.2022

Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ

Faith is a important factor that forms the basis of Christian life.

Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye
shall receive.

Those who believe in the name of Jesus Christ, his life is transformed. He is able to
overcome all challenges in his life by trusting in Jesus. Jesus says if we have faith as little as mustard seed we will see miracles happening
in our life. But Jesus Christ is a living God miracles and healings are manifested in lives of
believers even today.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh
to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently
seek him.

Through Faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour we also obtain the heavenly
blessing of having everlasting life.
Testimony

When my son was 7 months old he was suffering from Seizures. Doctors had given
up all hope. Jesus Christ saved my son and he was completely healed.

Romans 10:17 It is very important to spent quality time reading the Bible and praying daily. So that we are able to know God’s will in our life and do accordingly
When we spent time with Jesus Christ he fills us with the anointing of the Holy
Spirit.
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh;
Those who trust in him will never be dismayed. Isaiah 41:10 It is our sins and
iniquities which creates a gap between God and man. We should
repent and confess our sins and forgive one another. Isaiah 59:1,2

God who is rich in mercy and slow to anger will definitely forgive us and bless us.

Prayer

Loving Heavenly Father,
Speak to me through your word. Please guide protect and give me your wisdom.
We ask this prayer in Jesus Christ name.

Amen

Daniel 2 Message-08.11.2022

Power and authority from Jesus

John 8:32 Know the truth and the truth will set you free.

  • Gifts of the Holy Spirit will get activated by knowing the truth. It removes unnecessary things in us and teaches us what is required

Matt 16:19; 18:18 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on the earth will be bound in heaven, whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

  • When the truth goes in, power will be automatically activated

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the powers of the enemy, and nothing shall by no means hurt you.

Luke 11:20 Jesus says, “If I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.”

  • Let’s see from the Old Testament how powerful is the “Finger of God”.

Exo 8: 18, 19 Now the magicians so worked with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not. So there were lice on beast and man. Then the magicians said to Pharoah, “This is the finger of God”.

Matt 12:28 If I cast out demons by the spirit of the Lord, surely the Kingdom of God has come upon you.

  • Anyone who goes through the water baptism will receive the Spirit of God

Matt 3:16 When he had been baptised, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove and alightning upon him.

Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, “Repent, and let everyone of you be baptised in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

  • The Power Moses have, even we have.
  • In Old Testament – 1 Moses. In the New Testament – Millions of Moses’

Matt 28:18-20 Jesus said, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you, and I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

  • It is an omnipotent Power. Everyone can enjoy this Power. We got this power through cross

John 1:12 He gave the right to become the children of God, to those who believe in his name.

  • O.T All great prophets are called servants. N.T We are called as children/sons of God
  • Nobody has to give Power and Authority because it is already given

Numbers 12:7,8 My servant Moses.

1 Kings 11:32 My servant David who is close to my heart

What are the limitations of this Power?

John 14:12 Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in me, the works I do he will do also, and greater works than these he will do.

Personal testimony

We were about to attend a physical Healing school and there was an extremely great downfall of rain. We have prayed and commanded the rain to stop and miraculously the rain stopped and the sunshine came. All glory to God.

Prayer

Thank you father for accepting us as your sons/daughters/children and giving us the power and authority from heaven. We pray that everyone believes in the Lord Jesus and filled with the same power.

Daniel 2 Message-07.11.2022

DISCIPLESHIP

“And so I tell you, Peter; you are a rock and on this rock foundation, I will build my Church”.

Matthew 16:18

In John 1:40-42 We see that Andrew, Simon’s brother stayed with Jesus one night and said to Simon that he had found the Messiah. The next day he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said “your name is Simon, but you will be called Cephas or Peter. Peter means Rock”.

In Mathew 16: 12-20 we see, that Jesus asked his disciples “Who do say the son of man is” Peter answered “You are Messiah the son of the living God”. Jesus said, “This truth did not come to you from any human being, but, it was given to you directly by my father in Heaven” and added “You are rock and on this rock foundation , I will build my Church and not even death will ever be able to over come you. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. What you prohibit on earth will be prohibited in heaven and what you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven”.

The faith words of peter, who was senior among all his disciples, gave confidence to Jesus that His kingdom would be build up continuously after him. Jesus is the rock on which foundation laid by believers will grow as God’s Church. Jesus is the head stone on which His kingdom would be established.

The spiritual answer of Peter made Jesus Happy. Jesus is the rock. Peter by faith on Messiah laid the foundation which helped him to build up God’s Kingdom.

After the ascension of Jesus, Peter filled with holy Spirt Preached the gospel, with great power and healed the sick. He lead thousands of people towards Jesus and got them baptized too.

Before ascension to heaven, Jesus commanded his disciples “Go throughout the whole world and preach the gospel to all man kind. Who ever believes and is baptized will be saved and all His believers would be given the same power. ”They will drive out demons in my name. They will speak in strange tongues. They will place their hand on sick and people will get well”.

John 14:12 says, “Whoever believes in me will do what i do, he will do even greater things, because I am going to the father”.

Jesus wants every believer to do His work today. We by His Mercy are doing His work with the talents, he gave. Let us do with all our might and strength, So that, God’s name will be glorified
Amen

Daniel 2 Message-06.11.2022

Fellowship of Believers

Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Philippians 2:1‭-‬2 NKJV

These verses explain what is fellowship in the Spirit. The qualities of fellowship are love, like-mindedness, mercy and caring for each other. Like- mindedness does not mean agreeing with one another in all matters, but having the readiness to accept or allow differences with tolerance. These are essential qualities and people are to be guided by the Holy Spirit for enjoying fellowship with one another in the Christian community.
We find that those who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Master assembled in houses or other public places to worship God and share the Word of God and their testimonies. They looked forward to the occasion of fellowship.

And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Acts 2:42 NKJV

The Christian believers’ fellowship was to encourage each other and to remind themselves of the doctrines. There were no books written about the teachings and so it was essential for them to be reminded of the teachings of the Lord. Later in the first century the Gospels and epistles were written. But these manuscripts and copies of these were not available to all. As time passed, many wrong teachings, interpretations and ordinances corrupted the church. Still there were fellowships which nourished and promulgated the doctrines established by the New Testament books. The author of the book of Hebrews reminds about assembling of Christians.

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
Hebrews 10:24‭-‬25 NKJV

This fellowship of disciples later came to be called Christians in Antioch during Apostle Paul’s time.

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
I John 1:7 NKJV

Our fellowship is in Christ and His blood has redeemed us. Psalm 133 says:

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!
Psalms 133:1 NKJV

Church is the Body of which Christ is the head. The oil of anointing flows from the head of our High Priest, Christ Jesus. This anointing falls on to the body and we all get blessed. When we are United in one Spirit and guided by the Spirit there is abundance of joy. That’s the benefit and beauty of Christian fellowship.

Testimony

Troop church was a good fellowship we enjoyed before the corona set in. We looked forward to meeting each other in different houses, and enjoyed taking part in our assignments of worshipping, sharing the Word, testimony and intercessory prayers.

Prayer

Our loving heavenly Father, grant us the joy of fellowship with one another, that we love each other, encourage and strengthen one another in your precious love and protection. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray,

Amen.

Daniel 2 Message-05.11.2022

Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered? Isaiah 49:24

Praise the Lord. Dear brothers and sisters in the above verse it was written as “Shall the prey be taken from the mighty “. Asking this question to you. What is your answer?. The answer is Yes. Almighty has given authority for us to take, to rule this world. When our ways are HIS ways then no need to become panic. Let us go through three incidents given in Old testament

1. Abram’s victory Genesis 14:16. And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his a brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people When we gone through the 14th chapter we are able to see the war between the Kings in the Valley of Siddim. The Kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled and the enemies took captives of all the things. They took Lot Abram’ s brother’s son and his belongings. What a difficult situation?. When Abram heard about it He defeated the King and return back all the things taken by them as captives. He regain all the things by 318 members. Returning from the war he got heavenly blessings from Melchizedek. What a wonderful God we have. Lord almighty will fight for us and HE will give victory over the situation and also heavenly blessings.

2. David and Goliath 1 Samuel 17:51. Then David took the Philistine’s head and brought it to Jerusalem, but he put his weapons in his tent. Here in this passage we saw a war between Philistines and Israliets at Valley of Elah. Goliath was a strong man stood on behalf of Philistines and he used words to defame and to erase the belief of Israelites . At last it was the time of David he reached the Valley and heard the words uttered by Goliath. Being a Godly man and anointed one he strengthened himself and fought for Israelites and got the victory

3. David at Ziklag. 1 Samuel 30: 20 David got back everything the Amalekites had taken, and he rescued his two wives. Nothing was missing: small or great, son or daughter, nor anything else that had been taken. David brought everything back. Here the Amalekites destroyed Ziklag and took all the human beings and their belongings as Captives. David was engaged in another war. When David returned he came to know about it and was in distress. He strengthens himself in God’s presence and enquired at the Lord. With the clear guidance from the Lord he defeated the enemy and returned all the belongings stolen by them. He got victory over his enemies.

Brothers and sisters we are serving Powerful God who cares for us in the time of trouble. HE is expecting us to strengthen ourselves before going for the war and to pursue all the things stolen from us. Devil has stolen our worship time, bible reading time, meditation time and he gave fear and unfaithfulness.

Beware! . Never give up. What we have to do is strengthen ourselves in God’s presence and get a word from Him and go for Battle. So many times we are defeated because we are not spending time in HIS presence for the particular situation.

Prayer

Heavenly Father we come before you and asking you to forgive our thoughts, that I cannot do everything. From the above passage I could understand everything is Possible if God is on my side. Fill us with new anointing this day to strengthen us and to overcome the situation we come across. In the name of Lord Jesus Christ I rebuke all the negative thoughts and false belief. Claiming victory over my situation through Jesus and accepting the things He has done for me. In Jesus name

Amen.
