❎ *NOT EVERYONE WHO SAYS TO ME, ‘LORD, LORD,’ SHALL ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN* ❎
☄️ *“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘LORD, LORD,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.”* (Matthew 7:21).

💥 At the conclusion of the Sermon on the Mount, the LORD Jesus insists that *one will have eternal life solely based on obedience to the will of God.*
💥 It takes more than simply external behaviour to carry out the Father’s will. *The scribes and Pharisees appeared to be clean on the outside, but they were greedy and self-indulgent within* (Matt. 23:25–26).
💥 The thoughts and intentions of every individual are known only to God. God is aware of all individuals who belong to Him and is able to read our innermost thoughts and determine our hidden intentions. During His earthly ministry, *Jesus did not need any testimony about mankind, for He knew what was in each person* (John 2:25).
💥 Jesus demands *a righteousness that springs from a pure heart* (Matt. 5:8). *Only after being reborn by the power of the Holy Spirit* can we possess this kind of righteousness (John 3:5)
. 💥 Despite their apparent good deeds and miracles, *those whom Christ casts away from Himself* with harsh words of condemnation and labelling them evil doers *never approached Him in faith.* They are only hypocrites. The words of Jesus: *“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.”* (John 10:27-28). Nobody can rob Jesus of the people He knows because they hear and follow His voice.
💥 Men can have *a strong reputation for piety* while nevertheless *being doers of evil.* However, such hypocrites will be exposed one day.
💥 Importantly, they do good deeds and miracles in the name of Jesus. But, they are *never truly in a genuine, loving relationship with Jesus.* This admonition from Jesus is directed at those who show themselves to be godly without truly meaning it. *They act religious, but they reject the power that could make them godly* (2 Timothy 3:5).
💥 A true child of God always examines himself, repents for his sins, and prays, *”Father, forgive me my debts”* (Matthew 6:12). He is always ready to plead, *”God be merciful to me, a sinner”* (Luke 18:13). There is no hypocrisy in him.
💥 The last day will not be an issue for people known by Jesus. It will merely be *an extension of the relationship we currently have with Him through faith.*
💥 Paul says, *“The LORD knows those who are His,”* and, *“Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”* (2 Timothy 2:19). Those who are known by God will turn away from evil.
💥 The real question is *whether He knows us, not whether we know Him.* So let us examine ourselves and *live in such a way that Jesus will recognize us on that day.* We must be careful not to be deceived. 🔹 *Are we sure that our LORD Jesus knows us?*
✅ The *LESSONS* we learn:
1️⃣ *One will have eternal life solely based on obedience to the will of God.* 2️⃣ *Nobody can rob Jesus of the people He knows.*
3️⃣ *Men can have a strong reputation for piety while nevertheless being doers of evil.*
4️⃣ *Those who are known by God will turn away from evil.*
