Christ Crucified

Christ means the annointed, the Triumphant, the Messiah and the Glorified.
Crucified means the cursed, condemned, the humiliated and resented.
How do these two words come together for the rescue of humanity?

For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
I Corinthians 2:2

Cross was an instrument for killing man in the cruellest way. Romans took hold of Jerusalem and established their authority on all the Israel territory. The Jews believed that their Messiah would come and deliver them from the Roman masters. They waited for Him for their liberation. When their saviour Jesus came they couldn’t recognize Him as their eyes were blinded towards the truth. They themselves became involved in crucifying Him. It was God’s plan to sacrifice His Son for saving humanity because their spiritual uplifting would be possible with the propitiation of Atonement. Jesus was the Blemishless lamb on the sacrificial altar at Calvary.

This is the wisdom of God as revealed to Paul.

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory”..
I Corinthians 2:7‭-‬8

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Romans 8:1

Worldly people cannot understand the message of the cross as it appears foolishness to them. But for those who are predestined to be saved it is the wisdom of God. Predestined means it was the plan of God to save people through faith in the message of the cross. You cannot know God through the wisdom of the world, as is given in the Bible :

“For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe”.
I Corinthians 1:21


For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
I Corinthians 1:22‭-‬24

How marvelous is the wisdom of God ! Let us praise and thank the Lord for this great salvation which is made possible through faith alone in the message of the cross as Jesus sacrificed His body as the living sacrifice psalm 40 says: “Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me. I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart.”
Psalms 40:7‭

It was all pre planned.
Believe in the message of the cross and get saved through faith which is provided for the entire world. Preach this message and spread this message.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
I Corinthians 1:18‭-‬19

Prayer


Thank you Lord for redeeming us through your sacrifice on the cross. Thank you for drawing us to the cross. Help us to preach this gospel to the world. Help us to be the part of your redemption plan. Grant us the wisdom to preach the Crucified Christ to the world. . Thank you for your great sacrifice of giving Your Son for our redemption. Praise God.

Psalm 34 : 4″ I sought the Lord , and he heard me and delivered me from all my fears.

“We are, therefore not ignored of the challenges of the world nor are we. Unaware of the difficulties of our times , but this does not mean that we should burden ourselves , or others constant fear . Rather than dwelling on the immensity of our challenges would it not be better the focus on infinite greatness, goodness, and absolute power of our God .

Trusting Him and preparing with a joyful heart for the return of Jesus the Christ. Deliverance from fear we need extra strength from our God , from scriptures . These verses can help us to face with faith and courage. God wants us to succeed in life .

He wants us to grow, find joy and return to live with Him one day He sent His son Jesus Christ. So we could be strengthened in our trials and challenges.

Philippians 4 : 13 Says ” I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me “Many times we forgot that we are children of God. Because of that we are getting fear to face our challenges. These times we have to proclaim with these verse that I can do all things through Christ which strengthen us.

Luke 1 : 37 says ” For with God nothing shall be impossible when we have faith on God . In this world nothing is impossible. How beautifully scriptures said in Exodus 15 : 2 ” The Lord is my strength and song and He is become my salvation , He is my God and I will prepare Him on habitation, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him. Our Lord Almighty will give strength unto his people, the Lord will bless his people with peace. Our Lord give promise to us , then why we have fear?

Isaiah 41 : 10 God said , ” Fear thou not for i am with thee, be not dismayed for I am thy God i will strength thee, I will help thee , I will uphold thee, with the right hand of my righteousness .

“Again in Isaiah 40 : 31 says ” But they that wait upon the Lord shall know their strength they shall mount up with wings as eagle, they shall run, and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 25:8 he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. The LORD has spoken.

“How can I find strength in Jesus? Joshua 1 : 9 says ” Have not I commented thee? Be strong and of a good courage be not afraid neither be thou dismayed for the Lord thy God is with thee wither so thou goest.

In my life midst of fear , when my organization sent me to covid duty to some new place in U P. Literally i cried and full of fear in my mind. Tears were rolling my cheeks without my control to leave my children. I didn’t have hope that I could have come back or not. In airport itself i prayed.

God answered through these verse Joshua 1 : 9 . Miracle happened. I got strength from our Almighty. I repeatedly read these verses again and again. After that I really did that turn of covid duty with Joy and peace. I never had a fear after that. When I treat the patients , I sing a song which Lord is my shepherd and I shall not fear. Our God called us to come unto me, all that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest .

Mathew 11 : 28 – 38.Unnecessarily we only carry our burden , but our Lord said , My yoke is easy and my burden is light. Our Lord Almighty is El – Shadai. He can do everything for us , whether it may be in any situation, any darkness He is our only one Lord Almighty have all the power to do. He can make our life with joy and peace without fear.
