God chooses weak and foolish to do his mighty work
1 Corinthians 1:27 God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
1. Peter and John – uneducated fishermen
Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marvelled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. Peter and John became the strongest preachers because they were with Jesus.
2. David – unimportant shepherd boy
1 Samuel 16:10-11 Jesse had seven of his sons pass before Samuel, but Samuel said to him, “The Lord has not chosen these.” So he asked Jesse, “Are these all the sons you have?” “There is still the youngest,” Jesse answered. “He is tending the sheep.” 1 Samuel 16:7 The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 2 Samuel 5:4 David was thirty years old when he became king, and he reigned forty years. 2 Samuel 5:10 And he became more and more powerful, because the Lord God Almighty was with him.
David became a mighty warrior and the strongest king in the world because God was with him.
3. Troop Church – Small/insignificant structure
Troop church is a design that is comprised with inexperienced small group of people, however the Lord God is in it, so, it is flourishing and spreading all over India even started spreading worldwide. We prophetically declare that the troop church will flourish better than any other institutional churches.
Personal testimony:
God chose me to do lead the worship team instead of talented/well trained people. The Lord is with me and he blessed the worship team. IBJ meeting in Chennai witnessed how the Lord enabled this small inexperienced team to excel to glorify his name.
Prayer
Thank you, Lord, for choosing weak and foolish things of the world to do perform wonders for your kingdom. We surrender ourselves unto you. Please mould this miry clay and shape it to become a valuable vessel. In Jesus name we ask.
