Daniel 2 Message-05.01.2024

THE ONE MAN

Romans 5:17 “For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.”

Romans 5:19 “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.”

ONE ADAM

Adam,one man’s sin,his disobedience,transgression,brought sin,curse and death to this entire world,we know.

1 Corinthians 15:22 “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.”

The First man created by God was Adam.God unquestionably should have had big plans for him.God walked with him and God wandered with him,said he shall rule,multiply and subdue the earth to exercise all the blessings.He was supposedly the crown of creation,whatever names he named all the species continued to be their respective names,therefore God gave him all the authority and the Glory of God’s coronation was upon him.Such was the perfect plan of God for Adam but due to his sin,we all were made sinners.

ONE ACHAN

In the Book of Joshua,we see that God through Joshua kept giving victories to the Israelites,not even a single defeat was witnessed,but when they went to capture the very small country called Ai ,they faced defeat. The reason was that, Israel sinned,transgressed and did accursed things,therefore God left them and they lost His presence and hence,they became prey to the enemy.One man named Achan,Inspite of God telling them that the things of Babylon were accursed,stole them and had buried them.After the Israelites came to know that the
sin of Achan was the reason for their defeat they stoned and killed him.Later God turned from the fierceness of His anger.Achan,one man’s deception,sin was the utmost reason that caused defeat to the whole of Israel.

ONE JONAH

Jonah fled from the presence of God disobeying His words and sailed in a ship,Suddenly a great wind hit the .The sailors cast lots,the lot fell on Jonah,Jonah confesses that he is the reason for the mighty tempest.all the sailors threw Jonah into the sea and the sea calmed.Jonah,one godly man,fled from God’s perfect plan in disobedience and that caused great pain to all the other sailors too.Let’s think about us now.We shall take this time to analyse and see if any of such virtue has caused us any difficulty either at our home or in the society.If so,Let us seek the help of The Holy Spirit to forsake that very sin,right now from us.

Romans 3:10-11 “As it is written:
There is none righteous, no, not one;
There is none who understands;
There is none who seeks after God.”

How through Adam,one man’s sin we were all made sinners,likewise through Christ,the one man we all are made righteous,we see it mentioned in Romans 5:19 .

Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ left heaven and came to this earth as a man to set us free from our sins,He said to The Father in obedience,not my will but yours be done,this act of obedience and humbleness has made us righteousness In Christ.

ONE ABRAHAM

Isaiah 51:2 “Look to Abraham your father,And to Sarah who bore you;
For I called him alone,And blessed him and increased him.”

Abraham’s father Terah,was a Chaldean and bowed to worship before idols but God chose Abraham,and through that one man great blessing came to this earth.Abraham’s obedience,faith,fearfulness,praise led to the blessings upon the land.The covenant that God made to Abraham that he will bless him with a son in his old age was faithfully believed and in return the earth was fully blessed.

ONE NOAH

Through one Noah,an ark was built and one family saved and a holy generation was formed on this earth.

ONE MOSES

Stammerer and a dull-minded moses,obeyed God’s word,the Israelites were freed from their Egyptian slavery.

ONE JOSEPH

Through one Joseph Canaan and Egypt were freed from the dire famine.

ONE ELIJAH

Romans 11:3 “Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life”?
Through this one Elijah Israelites believed ‘God is Lord’and fell prostrate.

God seeks for that one man:

Ezekiel 22:30 “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.”

Today God to deliver our nation India from destruction is seeking for that one man who stands in the gap and intercedes in prayer for the land.Shall I be the one?Dont you want that through this,our house,society,nation be saved?

Spirituality

As the term is used in the Bible, spirituality can be described as a deep desire and willingness to please God and adopt his way of thinking.

A spiritual person strives to live his life in harmony with God’s values and under the direction of His holy spirit. Romans 8:5; Ephesians 5:1.

The Bible often uses contrasts to explain spirituality. For example, unlike a spiritual person, “a physical man does not accept the things of the spirit of God,” or God’s teachings. (1 Corinthians 2:14-16) In contrast with spiritual people, fleshly people are prone to “jealousy and strife” rather than generosity and peace. (1 Corinthians 3:1-3)

And those whose speech slanders and separates close friends are called “animalistic men, not having spirituality.”—Jude 19; Proverbs 16:28.

Where does spirituality come from?

We have the capacity for spirituality because we are made in God’s image. (Genesis 1:27) Thus, it is not surprising that most people have some appreciation and a yearning for things that are not material or physical.

We have an inborn ability to display qualities like those of God, such as peace, mercy, and impartiality. (James 3:17) Further, God strengthens the spirituality of those who strive to obey his commands.—Acts 5:32.

Why is spirituality important?

Spirituality leads to “life and peace.” (Romans 8:6) These gifts from God have value beyond compare.

Life : God promises to grant everlasting life to spiritual people.—John 17:3; Galatians 6:8.

Peace : This is peace with God. Those who focus only on their physical needs are enemies of God. (Romans 8:7) Further, God rewards those who cultivate spirituality with “the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.” (Philippians 4:6, 7) Such inner peace helps them to find happiness in life.—Matthew 5:3.

Christian spirituality

is a consciousness of fellowship with the Spirit of Christ, uninterrupted by carnality and sin. Christian spirituality develops when a born-again believer makes a consistent and ongoing choice to surrender to the ministry of the Holy Spirit. When we are born again, we receive the Holy Spirit who seals us for the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:13; 4:30). Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would lead us “into all truth” (John 16:13). Part of that truth is taking the things of God and applying them to our lives. When that application is made, the believer then makes a choice to allow the Holy Spirit to control him/her.

True Christian spirituality is based upon the extent to which a born-again believer allows the Holy Spirit to lead and control his or her life.It should be noted here that “spiritual” does not mean looking down on those who are not spiritual, but working to meet people where they’re at and inspire them toward spirituality.

It has been confirmed that spirituality is the bedrock of destiny. Your spiritual root in God determines what you can become in life. Your depth in God determines your success in life and destiny. You cannot go far with God and lag behind in life.

Why is spirituality important to destiny?

Spirituality gives bearing to life and destiny (Isaiah 37:31).

Bearing to life is like what the control tower is to an aircraft. This means, solid spirituality guarantees safety of flight and landing. The solidity of your spirituality is the guarantee of your success and safety in life. If your spiritual life is solid, you must live well and end well in life. Your destiny cannot crash if your spiritual life is in place.

So, spirituality gives bearing to your destiny. You are not permitted to be a failure in life if your spirituality is in place.

The quality of your devotion to God determines the quality of your destiny on earth (Isaiah 37:31).
