Daniel 2 Message-30.12.2023

SCRIPTURE READING AND PRAYER
Daniel 9 : 1-19

📝 “… Daniel understood from the Scriptures ( the word of the Lord given to Jeremiah ) … so he turned to the Lord God and pleaded with Him in PRAYER and PETITION.. ” ( v 2 -3 )

🙋‍♂️DANIEL’S PERSONAL BIBLE STUDY. Daniel’s search of Scriptures @ Jer 25:1-14 ; 29:10 ; 30 and 31 prompted his REASONING and ACTION :
👉 People’s sins against the Lord ( Jer 25:1-7 )
👉 70 Years of Captivity ( Jer 25:8-11 )
👉 End of 70 Years of Captivity ( Jer 25:12-14 )
👉 God’s Promise of restoration ( Jer 29:10; 30 -31 )
🗣️ Daniel volunteered himself to stand in the gap ( intercession Dan 9:3 )

🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ Scripture Reading was the way Daniel allowed God to speak to him and Prayer was the way Daniel spoke back.
💞 Beloved Church, when you read the Bible, the God of the universe will talk to you. Talk back to Him ( Quiet Time ).
📍 God is looking for a two-way conversation.

🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ Bible Reading ( Observation, Interpretation and Application ) is always fruitful and blessing :
💫 We learn to be cautious about our own lives and actions.
💫 We can avoid repeating past mistakes.
💫 We learn to recognize the awesome character of God, who in his sovereignty brings judgement and by his mercy and grace offers forgiveness and restoration.

🙋‍♂️ DANIEL’S PRAYER ( v 4-19 ). Daniel with his humble attitude repented not only his own sin but also his people’s sin. The phrase – “We have sinned and done wrong” is repeated. Then he pleaded for the Lord’s favour and forgiveness.

🛐 Nothing shakes the heavenlies like Prayer. Nothing moves the heart of God more than Prayer.
🛐 We often learn the most about Effective Prayer by listening to others pray.
🛐 Pray when we don’t know what to do.
🛐 Pray when we do.
Pray continually 1Thes 5:17
🛐 Prayer is deliberate, open communication with God.

💞 Beloved Church, if you haven’t already begun to exercise an interactive approach to Scripture Reading, I pray you will start today.

📝 Joshua writes, ” Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth ; MEDITATE on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it “ ( 1:8 )
📝 Paul exhorts us, “Do not be anxious about anything but in everything, by Prayer and Petition… present your requests to God” Philippians 4:6

O DANIEL , SERVANT OF THE LIVING GOD

Daniel 6: 20-23

  • The gentile king, Darius, came to the lion’s den and he called with a lamenting voice, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is your God whom you serve continuously able to deliver you from the lion? What a great witness Daniel had before the king! Let us also make a decision to live faithfully to God before others so that people will certify us as the servant of God.

This Darius knew that Daniel was continuously serving, or worshipping, or walking with God. What about us ? Let us also long and make a decision for living such a life like Daniel.

  1. Though Daniel lived such a pleasing life with God, there came a situation against his spiritual life. A firm decree was made by the king Darius, not to pray to any one except the king for 30 days. Whoever pray to anyone will be cast into lion’s den. Yes, our king, Lord Jesus blotted out the handwriting of ordinances against us and nailed it on the cross and spoiled the principalities and powers triumphing over them in it. Colossians 2: 14,15.

4.Even such a faithful Daniel had to go through the lion’s den. Yes, in our life also we have to go through the roaring lion, the devil and his traps. But our Lord Jesus will be with us.

  • But God sent an angel with him to the den and he tied and shut the lion’s lion’s mouth.
    What was the reason?
  • Darius made a decree in his kingdom that every men should tremble and fear before the God of Daniel. He is the true living God, enduring and steadfast for ever.
  • Daniel was innocent and faithful before God and to His words. He was innocent and never hurt before the king too. Yes we should also live such a life before God and men.
  • Daniel could shut the lion’s mouth by his faith. Hebrew 11: 33. What a great faith he had! Let us also pray and ask such faith.

Yes, may God save and protect us and our family from the mouth of the roaring lion, the devil.
Amen. Hallelujah.

Daniel 2 Message-28.12.2023

God who Justifies the UngodlyApostle Paul says in Romans 4:5 ……but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness

Beloved Romans 1:17 says For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. You see The Just shall live by Faith. Just as Abraham believed on Him who justified the ungodly Abraham’s faith was counted for righteousness.

It’s not that we worketh righteousness therefore we are declared by God as righteousness of God. No for the bible says there is no one righteous. All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. Therefore because we are declared righteous by God when we believe on Him, we intend to do all that is right.

No one can please God by doing righteousness cause No one is qualified as per the scripture which says No, not one is righteous. Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:The only righteous person was Jesus who pleased God on our behalf and therefore we are made the righteousness of God.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Jesus born of Virgin Mary was made a sin and a curse for us, that means Jesus became the righteousness of God on our behalf by obedience and carried all our sorrows and grief and sin and curse and purchased us and made us free so that we all could be the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus those who believe on God the Father that Jesus was the Son of God.

Romans 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:We are therefore the righteousness of God by faith in Him. Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;Praise GodIt is God and not man who Justifies the ungodly who believes in His Son Jesus made the righteousness of God.

Now, belief in Jesus follows our works for James says without works faith is dead. Abraham believed and his works followed him. The works of God is also called the fruit which in Galatians 5:22-23 says But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.The Works or Fruit follows our Faith in Him alone who gives us His Holy Spirit as a Helper to manifest the glory of God through us as a sweet fragrance pleasing unto God the Father in Jesus Christ. Therefore beloved of God as it says in

Conversations that Give

We laugh, and we grieve.
We offer encouragement and voice concerns.
We agree and debate.
We communicate to complete tasks and coordinate schedules.
We make small talk and make plans.
We contemplate life’s mysteries together.

Conversations are a part of life, and each interaction is as unique as the person we’re talking to.

In the book of Colossians, Paul and Timothy advised the believers to live wisely, especially among those who weren’t believers, and to make the most of each opportunity (Colossians 4:5). They went on to say:

“Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.”
Colossians 4:6

This sounds good—but what does it actually mean to be “full of grace” and “seasoned with salt”?

Full of grace. Grace is a free and undeserved gift. So even if someone is difficult or disagrees with our opinions, we can still communicate with kindness and respect. Grace gives kindness without condition—and so can we.

Seasoned with salt. Salt is an essential mineral used for preservation and seasoning. As Christ-followers, we are compelled by His love to be living preservatives of His story while sharing His message with passion and flavor.

Does this mean we should become full-time people pleasers? Or that we’ll have all the answers? Of course not. But like.

1 Peter 3:15 says, “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.”

It’s not just about what we say but how we say it. In our everyday conversations, we can honor Christ by speaking intentionally and gracefully.

THE SECRET OF THOUSAND CUBITS TO PASS THROUGH WATERS*

Ezekiel 47: 1-12.

1. Here *the waters, the Holy Spirit was issued out from under the threshold (doorstep) of the temple. When we obey Jesus and His words, who is the door then only this water will flow in our life.* *The Holy Spirit, the water will bless us and make us to grow fertile, gives good health, save souls etc*. We all like to get the blessings. But there is condition for that. *He will measure thousand cubits and then only bless us. He had a measuring line in his hand. Yes, He explains beautifully about the secret of blessing in his vision to Ezekiel.*

2. Now he measured *thousand cubits and cause him to pass through the waters. The waters were ankle deep.* Again *he measured thousand cubits and caused him to pass through the waters. Waters reached to the knees.* Again *He measured thousand cubits and caused to pass through waters. The waters reached to the loins.* Afterwards *he measured thousand cubits and it was a river that he could not pass through. The waters has risen to swim in , the river that could not be passed through.*

3. *Why he measured thousand cubits?* It shows *the obedience and submission of our life to the word of God, and grow spiritually in holiness, in our faith, humbleness, prayer life , meditation etc* That means God has a measuring line for us to follow day by day to grow. *When we reach this water to swim and could not pass through the waters, then only his blessings reach us.*

4. After that, *he led him to the bank of the river. There were very many trees whose leaves will not fade on one side and on the other. That means they meditate the word of God day and night. Their fruits shall not perish .Their fruits shall feed many bodies and souls. They bring out fruit every month. Their leaves are used for medicine that means they have healing property.*

5. Not only that *wherever this water or Holy Spirit flows a very great multitude of fish or souls will be there. That shall be healed and live. The servants of God, who are the fishers of men will catch these fish or souls which live eternally or receive eternal life. That means they will catch souls from the death and leads towards the Lord or eternal life.* 6.Yes, *the river we have to swim through will flow through the desert, that means through trials and sufferings and go into the sea and it cause even the dead sea water to be healed so that everything that lives even in it will be healed. The fishermen will catch fishes of exceeding many kind of fish, even gentiles to receive the eternal life.* Today we may be feeling sorry because we could not catch many fish or souls in the ministry. May be we are tired of our sickness in our body and soul? The vision Ezekiel received will give an answer to our question. Yes, *we should grow day by day to swim in the deep waters of Holy Spirit.

May the Holy Spirit help us to follow the above guidelines*. Amen. Hallelujah.

Daniel 2 Message-25.12.2023

WHAT IS PRAYER ?, AND WHY SHOULD WE PRAY

Praise the Lord dear Soldiers today’s topic is what is prayer and why should we pray. Today we learn about it.

WHAT IS PRAYER

Prayer is giving our attention to God in a two-way spiritual relationship where we talk to God and also listen to Him. Prayer is like a child’s conversation with their father. It is natural for a child to ask his father for the things they need, or to ask for advice or guidance.

Spending time with God in prayer is one of the most exciting privileges we have as believers. Yet so many people are still confused about what prayer is, and wonder why they should do it.

Prayer is communication with God, Prayer is Communion with our Creator
How can we communicate with God ?? How can we communion with our Creator??
. We do this by praising Him, woshiping Him, confessing our sin before Him, thanking Him and asking Him for our needs and desires.

-When we pray, we engage in loving fellowship with the Maker of heaven and earth. He has graciously invited us into a close covenant relationship with Him through the person and work of Christ.

WHY SHOULD WE PRAY?

1)PRAYER IS NOT OPTIONAL FOR GOD’S ’s PEOPLE

Prayer is frequently commanded or referred to in Scripture (Exodus 22:23, 27; 1 Kings 3:5; Isaiah 55:6; Joel 2:32;)
Isaiah 55:6:
Seek the Lord while He may be found,Call upon Him while He is near.

In all these verses we see that God is telling his people to pray, if you pray you will get deliverance, if you pray I will hear, this is what God is saying. So God said to pray so we have to pray.

2)GOD WANTS US TO PRAY

God wants us to pray every day, every moment, and in every situation. God’s Word says…. (1Th: 5:17-18, Ph: 4:6, Luke :18;1)

1Thes: 5: 17-18
Pray continually, Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus

God wants us to pray without ceasing and without grumbling.

3)JESUS PRIORITIZED PRAYER

Jesus made communion with God the first priority in His life. His approach to prayer was intentional and disciplined. He often rose early and went to a quiet place where He could focus on His Father (Mark 1:35-38, Matt: 14:23, 26:36, Luke 5:16)

.If Lord Jesus, despite being the Son of God, can give more priority to prayer then we should think how much priority should we give.

4) PRAYER STRENGTHENS US AGAINST TEMPTATION

In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus told His disciples to, “Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation” (Matt 26:41). Even so, the disciples fell asleep. Yes, prayer can be hard work; it can even be a struggle. But it is also a sure way to withstand temptation.

Matt: 26:41
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

When we go through temptations we can find strength through prayer, we can find deliverance through prayer.

5)PRAYER IS POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE

Prayer has “great power as it is working” (James 5:16,) Christ, who dwells in our hearts through faith (Eph 6:18), empowers us to live for Him as we commune with Him. We are revived from the inside out as we become increasingly confident in the effective outworking of our relationship with God.

6)PRAYER HELPS US RECEIVE AND GIVE FORGIVENESS

Jesus taught His disciples to pray, “Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us” (Luke 11:4). When we humbly confess our failings before the Lord, He promises to forgive and cleanse us completely. Receiving such astounding, undeserved forgiveness frees us to do the same for others.

Heavenly Father we are grateful for today’s manna. Please help us to always remain in prayer. Thank you Lord for listening our prayer, in the name of Jesus we pray …Amen and Amen

Daniel 2 Message-24.12.2023

What’s Christmas for us.

What’s the meaning of this Word?
It’s Christ mass, a sacrament observed for communion with Christ. The date of Christ Jesus’ birthday is not given in the Bible. There’s nothing Biblical about the particular day of celebration of Christmas. Anyway let us take this as an opportunity to talk about Jesus’ redemptive plan for mankind. The heavenly Father sent His only begotten son to the earth, that any one who believes in Him will have everlasting life. He came to save us from our sins. Jesus Himself said
“the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Matthew 20:28
Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 7:14
Immanuel means God with us.
Man fell into sin and God’s presence cannot rest with man as He is holy and so He planned to redeem man from his sin after paying the price of man through His own sacrifice at Calvary.

As the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

Hebrews 2:14‭-‬15
This is the message of Christmas, the message of the cross.
As apostle Paul says “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

1 Corinthians 1:18
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile

Romans 1:16
About Jesus, Isaiah has prophesied :-
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.

I Timothy 3:16
He is Christ Jesus who redeemed us from the slavery of sin.
It is this news we have to celebrate and let us rejoice that He was born in Bethlehem.
Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

Luke 2:10‭-‬11

“Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

Luke 2:14
Let us praise Him and worship Him as He came to earth as a man and redeemed us, giving us life in abundance. It’s a miracle that Jesus, the darling of heaven left His equality with the Father to become a man. The meaning of Christmas is that God is with us and the message of Christmas is that God is at the throne of grace that we can run to Him for His support and succour anytime we need Him. Praise Jesus!

Prayer:

Thank you Heavenly Father for loving us so much that you gave Your Son to redeem us from the enemy. We praise and worship you Jesus for Your precious blood You shed to pay the price to redeem us. We believe and trust you and wait for the rapture. Keep us holy, away from sin O Lord..
Amen.

Daniel 2 Message 23.12.2023

Garments are very important for any person. There is an adage which says, ‘A person makes only half of his personality; and his clothes make up for the rest’. Those who work in corporate offices, should wear clothes that reflect their position in the organisation. Some companies have uniforms based on the cadre. Army personnel also have their special uniform. The Lord gave many commandments to the Israelites about garments.

For example, “A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the Lord your God” (Deuteronomy 22:5).

The Lord also gave specific instructions regarding garments of the priests serving in the presence of God (Exodus 31:10-11).At the time of creation, Lord gave a garment of glory to Adam. But when he sinned, satan stripped Adam of that glory. Therefore, Adam and Eve were found naked, and dressed themselves with fig leaves.

The Lord looked at their pathetic condition, and made tunics of skin and clothed them.Today The Lord is clothing you with the garment of salvation; and the robe of righteousness (Isaiah 61:10). You can have that garment of salvation only through the remission of your sins (Luke 1:77). The Scripture says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).

Lord Jesus purchased the garment of salvation for us, by His precious blood. “Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot”. (1 Peter 1:18-19). At the Coming of the Lord, we should be seen preserving those garments of salvation, continually progress in our holiness, so that we can meet Him.

Along with the garment of salvation, and the robe of righteousness, The Lord is also graciously giving you the garment of praise.

“He has sent Me to give them the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness” (Isaiah 61:1,3).

Prayer:

Daniel 2 Message-22.12.2023

Isaiah 40:18 “To whom then will you liken God? Or what likeness will you compare to Him?”

We have come to the end of 2023, let us know and acknowledge who this God is and how far He has brought us, let us Thank Him and be in awe of His greatness!

You who breathed into man formed of dust and he became a living soul, what can I say about You? (Gen 2:7-9)

Oh Lord, you created the stars and you leads their host forth by number, You call them all by name, what can I say about You? (Isaiah 40:26)

When You draw a line, the proud waves of the sea don’t cross over, what can I say about You? (Job 38:11)

You who divided the Red sea into two and led all your children out on dry ground, what can I say about You? (Exo 14:21-29)

You who suspended the earth without a pillar, what can I say about You? ( Job 26:7)

For You heaven is your throne and earth Your footstool, what can I say about You? (Isaiah 66:1)

You picked up a child Moses and made him a prince, what can I say about You?
You picked up an orphan Esther and made her queen in a strange land, what can I say about You?

You seated five thousand men plus women and children and lifted up five loaves of bread and two small fish, blessed it and filled them, gave the disciples 12 baskets overflowing, what can I say about You Oh Lord?

A woman touched” hem of your garment” and what her money and medical science could not do you healed her in a second, what can I say about You?

A man was to be embarrassed on his wedding day, you gave the best wine just out of water, what can I say about You?
Peninnah mocked Hannah, you gave Samuel and dignity to Hannah, and to prove Your excellence You blessed her with five children, WHAT can I say about YOU? (1 Samuel 1, 2)

You who frustrated the fishing skills of Peter who caught such a huge haul at Your word, during the day (not at night) that the nets break and boats are so full they sink, what can I say about You?
You who remembered us in our lowly state, what can I say about You? (Psalm 136:23)

You who also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. (Psalm 40:2) Oh Lord, WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT YOU?

(Eph 1:19-20) Paul used the Greek words “huperballo, megethos, dunamis “for (exceeding, greatness, power) this power is incomparable and so mighty that it cannot be fathomed by human mind. This great power brought us so far and is toward us and in us who believe in Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, whom shall we fear, what shall we fear?

Daniel 2 Message-21.12.2023

” It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of Lord”

Thank you Lord for guiding us. We came to understand these truth. Lord, we believe that now we know our hearts which is actually very important. Lord help us in our lives ,not to seek riches or a wealthy life, but instead we should be content with sufficient clothing and food. Lord, apart from working normally, for the rest of our time, help us to read your words more, spread your Gospel more, work more in the ministry of army of Jesus and sick to understand the truth.
