THE GOD OF SECOND CHANCE

Jonah 3:1
We see that the Lord came to Jonah a second time, and it was no different from the first time . God told him to go to Nineveh and preach to the people there. God gave Jonah a second chance.

No matter how long we avoid God’s instruction, it is still there for us to deal with when we stop running. Eventually we see that being in God’s will, not out of our will, is what brings peace and joy to us. We have to surrender our own wills because walking in our self centered ways keeps us unhappy.

Running from difficult things never works in long term. God never leads us anywhere he cannot keep us. God is leading us to deal with an unpleasant situation in our life, do not run from it. He promises to be with us at all times and never leave us or forsake us.

Surrender to God can be frightening when we first begin to practice, it is because we do not know what the outcome will be if we yield ourselves to God’s will. However, once we have surrendered and begin to experience God’s faithfulness and the peace that passes understanding, we learn quickly that God’s way is better than any plan we could ever devise.

Not knowing exactly what will happen in the future, but trusting God to take care of us and enjoying peace, is far better than erroneously thinking in our life all figured out while continuing to live in fear and anxiety. To enjoy peace with God, we must become comfortable with not always knowing what the future holds.

There is no such thing as trust without unanswered questions. If God is leading us to do something difficult, just begin to take baby steps of faith, and after each one he will show us what to do next. We do not have to have an entire blueprint for the future;we do not need to have all the answers. All we need is to know then One Who Knows, and that’s Jesus himself.

THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH

Habakuk 3:17

^{God promises to be our strength. He is the God of our salvation. That means he delivers us and provide a way of the troubles in which we find ourselves. It is important to keep rejoicing even in times of trouble, because the joy of the Lord is our strength. Depression, discouragement, and despair only weaken us, but being positive and finding something to rejoice about adds energy to our lives .
Even if we cannot find something to rejoice about, we can rejoice over our relationship with the Lord. He is our joy, not our circumstances.}

When we trust in God, he enables us to make spiritual progress even during times of troubles.Through him we can keep on walking forward. We have said in the past, “Keep on walking when the devil is stalking”.Satan’s favorite tool to use against God’s children is fear. But thank God that in Him we can still make progress even in times that are hard to endure.

We tend to think that the highest place to be is on the mountain top with no problems and everything going our way,but that is not true according to God’s word.He says that our high places are trouble ,suffering ,and responsibility and he promises that he will hind’s feet. A hind is a type of mountain goat that can leap about freely on the Rocky, difficult slops. Hinds climb mountains with seemly no effort at all because of the way God has made them.
Look to God as your strength, and trust him to help us make progress in trouble.

FINISH THE JOURNEY

Genesis 11:31
God gave Abram’s father an opportunity to go to the place of his blessing Canaan. But instead of going all the way with the Lord, he chose to stop and settle in Haran. Many believers do what Tereh did. They start out for one place to settle somewhere else along the way. It is easy to get excited when God first directs us to do something But many times we never finish what we start because the roads get difficult . It would be nice to reap the benefits of the journey without actually having to leave your comfort zone, but it doesn’t work that way. To receive our blessing we must be willing to push on through to be at the finish.

Let us pray,

Father we do not know what happens tomorrow but only we know who hold tomorrow. Increase our trust on you does not matter what situation we are. Amen

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.Proverbs 19:21

–Are you that person in the middle of a failed dream, slow growth or dead-end mess?Let me encourage you with this truth:It is the Lord’s purpose that will prevail, no matter where you are and no matter how many failures you encounter.

In Him, even if it looks daunting or pointless to step forward,in the end,ALL WILL BE WELL.You may be in a tiresome journey for now, yet, may you not lose heart but instead, choose to see God’s heart for you-A faithful heart that does not withhold good things for His children.

The LORD has made everything for its purpose (Proverbs 16:4), and there is a right time and procedure to every purpose (Ecc. 8:6).In trying times, the Lord is sure to strengthen hearts as they wait on Him.

He prepare those who put their trust on Him for the things He will entrust them, while doing the most important thing: refining one’s character towards the image of our Lord Jesus Christ.

May the joy of the Lord be your strength in this season and in the seasons to come. And may you never forget, that for what no one ever saw or heard, what no one ever thought could happen, is the very thing God prepared for those who love Him (1 Cor. 2:9).

We give more importance to our Physical appearance, how I look, what to wear, more about our body whereas our Lord has more concerns over our Soul and the Spirit. As we all know our physical body perishes but our soul and spirit have everlasting life.” Good news” if we die as a child of our Lord Jesus, we can enjoy everlasting life with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mathew 10:28 “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both”.

Lord has given below Instructions to Israelite (His children / us) so that the soul could live.

1.Incline ears to Lord

2. Come to Lord.

3. Hear from Lord.

When we start to listen from Lord and obey His voice our soul will live. Sound simple right.

When we are in crossroad or difficult situation, we tend to seek advice from parents, friends, relatives and many other people who are around us, we also listen to many voices / advice and tend to follow who ever gives us advice pleasing to our will or in other words easy for us to follow.

When we decide to do what pleases us, we just act as we were listening to others, but nothing gets into our minds. For eg., if we decide to marry a person with whom we have fallen in love our ears will be closed to anyone’s suggestions or advice.

Here Lord asks us to Incline our ears to Him and to go to Him with obedient heart and obey His words whole heartedly. If we didn’t do according to Lords instruction which means, we were deceiving ourselves. It only leads to tragedy and failure in life.

In this world we get lots of ideas and strategy free of cost. Prophets can give incorrect advice. Only our Lord can give us perfect advice for given situation. John 10:27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

James 1:22 “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.”

Now is time for us to examine ourselves and find whom we are listening to and whose instruction we follow. Each Bible word is living and can transform our dead situation to living one, helps to heal our wounds, dried areas of our life to be blossomed for Lord, fruitless life to become fruitful, unlucky life into blessed one more Word can turn our cursed situation to be a great blessing to many.

When we incline our ears to Lord and obey Him completely, our Covenant with our maker get renewed every day, helps us to grow in Him. We will not only inherit everlasting life we will bring heaven down to the places wherever we go / visit / stay.

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

My dear Heavenly Father Loving Jesus, thank you for your covenant which you have made with us, give us loving and obedient heart so that we will listen to you and act according to your words and will. Joseph’s Sacrifice and Reward

Gen 45:4-5 Then Joseph said to his brothers, “Come close to me.” When they had done so, he said, “I am your brother Joseph, the one you sold into Egypt! And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you.

Joseph’s life had been marred by adversity, separated from his beloved father and subjected to countless trials. Yet, throughout his journey, he clung to his unwavering faith in the Lord, who stood by him through every step, never forsaking him. Although he possessed the power and authority as Egypt’s second-in-command, the trials and tribulations transformed Joseph’s character. He came to understand that the Lord had allowed these hardships for a greater purpose: to pave the way for his family’s future in Egypt, where they would find grace and blessings from Pharaoh.

The Lord’s divine plan required Joseph to endure pain so that his entire family could receive abundant blessings. Throughout this challenging journey, Joseph remained faithful, obedient to the Lord’s commandments, and never strayed from His path.

Through his steadfast devotion, the Lord transformed Joseph’s heart, dissipating the anger he rightfully held against his brothers and granting him a profound comprehension of his trials and their ultimate significance.

Joseph’s unwavering faith in the Lord throughout his trials resulted in an extraordinary transformation. From a mere slave boy, he ascended to become the leader of Egypt, guiding the entire nation. God gave him compassion toward his brothers, and enabled him to forgive them. This powerful testament highlights the rewards of walking with the Lord during times of adversity.

Similarly, the Lord calls upon each of us to face our trials with faith, seeking to change and refine our characters. Following His commandments during hardships allows us to embrace forgiveness and exhibit Christ-like compassion toward those who have wronged us.

By adhering to His teachings, we receive His divine likeness and become vessels of blessings for even those who have caused us harm, just as Joseph exemplified. This way of walking in trials is a sweet smelling sacrifice to the Lord.

Trusting in the Lord’s plan and walking with Him through the storms of life will not only bring blessings upon us but also enable us to become blessings for others, just as He did for Joseph.

Embracing faith and demonstrating compassion, forgiveness, and obedience during difficult times will not only transform our lives but also allow us to positively impact the lives of those around us.

Like Joseph's remarkable journey, our steadfast devotion to the Lord can lead to incredible blessings and serve as a source of inspiration for others facing their own trials. Lord, help us to understand the purpose of our trials and make us a vessel of blessings to others.

The Plimsoll Line in our life.

1 Corinthians 10: 13 “ No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”

The Plimsoll Line

10th of February is called Plimsoll Day, named for 19th century politician and ‘Sailor’s Friend’ Samuel Plimsoll, to remember his great campaign to save and improve seafarers’ lives. The most significant achievement of this campaign was the Plimsoll Line, a line painted on the side of a ship to show how low in the water she should sit when safely loaded. It’s an innovation that’s still used today. It has saved thousands of lives and spared seafarers the anxiety of being sent to sea in overloaded and unsafe vessels.

God Hears and intervenes

Similarly God has set a Plimsoll Line for each one of us. He will never burden us with more than that. When we come across trials and tribulations in life we should not lose heart. Hagar and her son Ishmael were left wander in the wilderness, out of water and with nowhere to go. Hagar put Ishmael, under the shade of bush and walked quite a distance away so as not to see him die. God hears both Hagar crying and the boy crying, and he intervenes once again. He assures her, he reaffirms his promise to her, and he provides water for them in the desert. (Genesis 21: 16-19). The same God is with us today in all our situations. Both Malachi 3:6 and Hebrews 13:8 declare that God is the same always and never ever changes. He is always good, always loving, always all-powerful. No matter how this world changes around us, we can trust God is consistent. He is the same yesterday, today, and Forever!

Testimony

We must understand that God will not test us beyond our ability. During my Ph.D in 2011 at Coimbatore, I accepted the Lord completely. While I was a Hindu, I just knew the name Jesus Christ. Once I accepted the Lord, I was introduced to a prayer group in the University Hostel, and I used to worship and pray along with few sisters. My Ph.D guide created lot of troubles to me. She never used to sign my papers, reports etc on time. She used to keep it on her table without signing for days together. She used to ask me to take her M.Tech classes instead of her, which I did so. Most of her administrative work she would give to me. Four years passed by but, she never allowed me to publish a single research paper.

My subject was unknown to her which she informed me during my admission, hence she sent me to a Professor in other college in Coimbatore and asked them to correct my papers. This took long time as they too had their own students’ papers. Finally when I was ready with 3 corrected papers, my guide took a long time to give consent for publication. Simultaneously, I used to argue with my guide that she has wasted my 4 years. One day a friend told not to argue with her, but make peace with her. Hence I used to pray for this situation daily and then meet her and try to make her understand my situation in an amicable way. I stopped arguing with her. At last by God heard my prayers and she gave consent for publishing the papers. The next year she accepted signing my Thesis and gave a date for the Viva Voce examination. To all of our surprise, my Thesis that was sent to a Malaysian University and IIT Gowhati came with best comments by the examiners and without any errors.

When I think of my Ph.D days in Coimbatore, I can come only to one conclusion that God has a Plimsoll Line for each one of us. And He does not test us beyond our ability. He made a way for me in that wilderness (Isaiah 43:19) and my thesis was lauded by the examiner on the day of the Viva Voce.

Proverbs 23:18 says “There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.”

Many a times we keep murmuring over our situations thinking that God is testing us. But God never tests us. He is the only one God who makes a way to come out successfully from our trials and tribulations.

Prayer :

My heavenly Father, I bow before you with all due respect and reverence and offer our obeisance to you. Lord no matter what I face in my life, I shall keep trusting you and be rooted in your words. Nothing is really too hard for you. I believe in you as you are my only hope. You always have the best thing for me and you never disappoint me. I thank you for all the miracles you have done in my life so far. Lord, help me to grow more in your word. In Jesus name I pray , Amen.

SPIRIT AND SOUL

1cor2:14 :  The natural man does not receive the things of God’s Spirit, they are foolishness to him. He can not understand them because thay can be judged spiritually.”

The spirit of man is not fully functional,in harmony with God’s Spirit because of SIN but after he comes to the Lord in Repentance and receives Jesus as Saviour then ; his spirit starts interacting with God

When he is Baptised in the Holy Spirit he receives the Spirit, in order to live new life in Christ. lt is the will of God that man’s soul must come under the Lordship of Holy Spirit because He enables the man to grow and start obeying God.Otherwise God’s spirit will not flow through us.Then we will fall back in the lust of the flesh i.e. ,our old life.This is called ‘ CARNALITY’ the natural man. The word says,”To be carnally minded is death. “.  We were condemed to eternal death as carnel men.So the Son of  God Jesus,came in human likeness to die in our place.The Righteous for the unrighteous. And He took our place on the cross and completed the work of our Salvation.When He cried out  “lt is finished”; the work of our Redemption was done for every believer’s body,soul and spirit.   This was the price which He paid for our SALVATION.

JUSTIFIED: The minute a man REPENTS and comes to the Lord and believes, he is justified i.e our spirits are made right with God.

SANCTIFIED: Our souls are being sanctified- made holy before God.

GLORIFIED : Our bodies shall be ‘ Glorified’.- made eternal by the SPIRIT OF GOD.It covers total life experience past,present and future.

RELATIONSHIP TO SIN: We were saved from the ‘ Penalty’ of sin and from the presence of sin.

^{God said  : ” All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of  God.” It means the whole world is reeling under the power of sin, so man had no hope without Jesus .All were condemed to eternal  destruction and death.So the Son of the Most High Jesus   Christ came in human likeness to die in our place. The Righteous for the Unrighteous died and he REMOVED the written code with all its regulations,which were against us. Hallelujah. All Glory to our Lord Jesus. Amen.}

Prayer: 

Gracious Lord thank you for dying in our place and the price you paid on the Cross.Amen

“Restore the Land India like streams in the Negev”

Psalm 126:4-6 “Restore our fortunes, LORD, like streams in the Negev. Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.”

Restore the Land meeting was conducted on 29 January 2023.In that meeting ,Prophetical prayer was given to me ,to Prophecy over the Indian Nation. I received a revelation ,

Psalms 126 :4” Restore our fortunes , Lord like streams in the Negev. Then the Holy Spirit made me to prophecy over our Nation India according to the above verse, I prophesized that Let the Restoration begin in Indian Church, Indian government and in all the sectors like the streams in the Negev. And also I remember that the Holy Spirit anointment will flow like streams thru Indian Church and Let it bring a great harvest .

According to above verse, The Holy Spirit flowed with the words that , whatever soldiers going to sow the seeds with tears and hard work through Gift Schools and Troop Churches are going to bring a great harvest and great Celebrations will be there at the end of the year people will confess that the Lord has done great things . This year 2023 after Jan 29, 2023 Restore the Land meeting Chennai , restoration started in Israel , streams flown in Negev Desert after many years according to data collected through YouTube. Restoration will begin in our Country too , in all aspects like Spiritual , Financial , Geographical and Historical.

Facts about Negev Desert:

The Negev is a large desert region in Southern Israel .Its main city is Beer Sheba. The origin of the word Negev is from the Hebrew root denoting ‘dry’ ; in the Hebrew Bible , the word Negev is also used for the direction ‘South’. The Negev is the area lying between the hills of Judah and Kadesh – Barnea.

According to the Book of Genesis 13 Abraham lived for a while in the Negev after being banished from Egypt (Genesis 13:1,3).

During the Exodus journey to the Promised Land , Moses sent 12 scouts into the Negev to assess the Land(Numbers 13:17). Later the Northern part of Biblical Negev was inhabited by the tribe of Judah and the southern part of Biblical Negev by the tribe of Simeon .

According to Psalm 126 , You are like Gods children of old who spoke of the Lords blessings as streams in the Negev Desert .You see the Negev was an arid desert with many dry, big river beds and in the spring the thunder storms would create flash floods which would fill those river beds. The psalmist sang of a time when God set His people free from their captivity and they were restored to Jerusalem (Zion). The streams in the south flowed when the rain fell in faraway mountains .Those streams could appear suddenly and rush with a mighty flow , sometimes known as flash floods. The Psalmist prayed for a mighty sudden work of God to further the work of restoration among His people.

In this year 2023, the Lord wants to bring Restoration in the Indian Church Revival and also in all the departments of the Indian Government. We should understand that the present Institutional Churches is compared to Negev desert which denotes the dryness – “Where there is no flow of the Holy Spirit inside the Institutional Church and the end result is we cannot see the harvest and the people are perishing. Many souls needs deliverance , healing , salvation, love but the anointing is not enough to rescue the souls. But the Lord’s perfect will is to bring a great revival by pouring His Spirit like streams in the Negev as a rush with a mighty flow among the people. Hence we the Indian Church should arise and come forward and ask before the Lord to send His Anointing upon the Indian Church to bring a mighty revival and restore the Land India as Glorious Nation.

             ^{Our Heavenly Father we come before your throne in the name of your Son and our  Saviour Lord Jesus Christ , we thank you for your love and concern for our Nation India. We also ask pardon for our mistakes, negligence and disobedience to your perfect will. Cleanse us with the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and use us for your Kingdom work. Restore our Nation India into a Glorious Nation and restore its fortunes like the streams in the Negev in order to see the great revival and restoration. Amen.}

God’s Expectation

Ps 93:3 “The floods have lifted up, O Lord,The floods have lifted up their voice;The floods lift up their waves.”

Ps93:1”The Lord reigns”.from these verses we see that, because The Lord reigns, the floods are lifted.How are they lifted? Lifted with their voices .

Character of Lifted: God’s natural objective character for His creation is to Rise.Therefore,We who are created by God  in His image also ought to Rise up.

Isaiah 52:1”Awake, awake!

Put on your strength, O Zion,thus says the Lord to us,to dust off and to rise up.Whatever situation we might be stuck in ,God looks at us and says ‘Arise and Shine for The Lord.’Rivers are lifted with noise,Joy,Merry,praise.

Therefore, we also ought to rise up with shouts of joy,praise,merry declares the Lord. We also have to arise and shine along with the brothers and sisters whom we connect, lift each other up in times of trouble and forgive one another in times of weakness and run together towards Our God. We ought to be united together spiritually in one mind to build God’s kingdom and fulfill God’s will.

Testimony

^{I had to relocate to a different place for my job and was forced to leave my family behind, when I was weary in my new workplace God comforted me through these Words and they ‘Lifted me up’.God helped me meet a family for my spiritual fellowship and this not only comforted me but also helped me sing praises .I realised that the reason God brought me here was to fulfill His purpose in my life.}

Prayer

Loving Father since you reign, your creation rejoices.In the same way God,it is your desire that,we who are made in your image,may rise and shine and praise you,have spiritual oneness,bear each other,forgive one another’s shortcomings and lead all towards God.So Lord,Give each of us this Grace and help us live according to your expectation.Thankyou for hearing our prayer and blessing us with this Grace.In The Precious Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ,Amen.

For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11

The Lord is repairing foundations in this hour. He is restoring personal foundations & the foundation of His Church throughout the world.

Have you ever seen a once solid & firm foundation that was cracked & breaking up—like what you see when a sidewalk breaks up due to overgrown tree roots? The Lord is saying that this represented a Believer’s foundation in Christ—even their identity in Christ. But why was the foundation seen as cracked and broken? What were the roots that were breaking it?

The Spirit of the Lord wants us to see these huge roots, like those of a large tree. The roots that had grown off of things planted on the original foundation and had then spread under it. They were now usurping or encroaching (even trespassing) upon the solid foundation of Christ and His original intent for His Church, and for the houses built upon it.

These roots were attached to things originally planted or built upon the foundation of Christ, but over time they began to grow roots and offshoots that were independent of Jesus. They grew out to the left and to the right and then went underground, disrupting the righteous foundation that was set in place to hold them up. The independent roots of these structures had taken over, and now they had become destructive and needed to be cut in order to restore the foundation and secure the God-given structures.

Our heavenly Father is digging up these independent roots that are destroying the foundation of His Son in the lives of His people. As each wild root is removed, the foundation is repaired & identity in Christ is restored. The removal of the destructive roots caused the things planted upon the foundation to become unshakable once again, for they were being restored to their rightful place and His original purpose. Yet, in some cases, the roots had grown so large and thick (so intertwined with other things) that the whole structure had to be removed to save the foundation.

In His mercy, the Father is removing everything that has been damaging or destroying the foundation of Christ in our lives and in His Church. In some cases, this means that structures which have become so independent from the original foundation will have to come down in order to bring restoration.

We must allow His pruning to happen. Anything that is not rooted in the original foundation of Christ must be cut away, or that structure will find that it is no longer on its original foundation and will begin to crumble, or it will begin to grow independent of Christ and His truth.

This “cutting away” of destructive roots has been causing disturbances in things we’ve grown and even in how we’ve functioned. But we must let this “cutting away” happen, individually and corporately. This is His mercy and His love for us being made manifest. It is required for a pure outpouring to occur.

God is not only restoring the foundation of structures, but He is restoring the purity of our identities. Our identities are not to be in structures (even ministries), but in Christ alone. If we don’t allow this work, we will begin expecting people to serve a structure rather than Christ. We won’t be able to faithfully steward the structure according to His plans and principles, or from the place of His firm foundation.

Structures are NOT bad; they are needed. However, they cannot be allowed to grow roots that leave the foundation and create a spiritual ecosystem that is independent from Christ. We are being restored to our original and firm foundation. Being yielded and surrendered is vitally necessary during this time. Do not try to hold onto things that are being cut away or secure things that are being removed. Ask the Holy Spirit for discernment and understanding so that you can cooperate and partner with God in this work.Amen

Amplify Your Faith By Aligning Your Talk

 We are having the same spirit of faith, (according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak). 2 Corinthians 4:13.

It has been established that without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). The operation of faith in the life of a child of God is evidenced by the visibility of practical and substantial profit in his life. Faith without works is a dead faith. Anywhere faith is in place, there must be works.

The Word of God is key to operate in great faith. Nevertheless, there must be what a person must do with the Word of God in order to operate in faith.

One thing a person must do with the Word of God in order to walk in faith is to align his talk with Scripture.

This means, do not speak carelessly, speak calculatedly. Do not speak your situation, speak your revelation. Do not speak your frustration; speak your conviction. Do not speak what you feel, speak what He wills. That is the law of faith.

2 Corinthians 4:13 says,

We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.

So, do not speak what is happening but what is written.

Isaiah 8:20 says,

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

If you hear someone speaking and amplifying the diagnosis given to him, it is because there is no light in him. When you see somebody speaking calamity or tragedy all the time; he may say ‘Ah, this country, it shall never be well. It is struggle and survival of the fittest. In fact, I am struggling like others’; it is because there is no light in him.

^{Therefore, you must decide to speak what is written and not what is happening. This is faith. Speak accurately and calculatedly regardless of your situation and challenges. Change your situation by speaking the Word.}

 PRAYER

Thank You O LORD for showing me how to speak. I receive Your Help to speak accurately and by the revelation of Your Word, O LORD, in Jesus’ Name.Amen
