Daniel 2 Message-30.06.2023

Proverbs 4:26-27 Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.

Praise be to the holy name of the Lord Today we can meditate on two ways

One is a shortcut and another is a straight path. Every human being follows one of these two paths in their daily life either good or shortcut some even do a good thing by using a shortcut.

For example, we have to pay a bribe to get admission in a school, we have to pay a bribe to get something done in an important government office, even if we know it is wrong, we give it.

We have this attitude because we want to get the job done. But recently the Lord made me realize one thing, the garbage collector told me to put the vegetable garbage separately and the other waste garbage separately. When I put garbage, although I know this, I put all the garbage in one cover

I give money to the person who buys garbage regularly every month, so he doesn’t say anything to me, but when someone else comes to give garbage, he says to segregate and give the garbage.

The garbage collector won’t talk to me rudely as well .Days went by like that. One day I was praying and the Lord made me realize that you are giving money to calm them down and not obeying rules and regulations.

It may be a simple thing but God is the Lord who makes His children aware of everything and He always wants His children to do everything in the right way.

There are no shortcuts. The Lord wants a straight approach. Broad and wide is the gate of hearing, but strait and narrow is the gate of life.

But with God’s help, we must go the way to life. The Lord will help us. If we have faith, we will go on the right path with God’s grace.

In this world when Jesus was there, He did all the things the right way and took no short cuts. He spoke everything as it is as per the God, The Father. There was no deceit in his mouth.

Jesus didn’t expect to get acknowledged by the Pharisees and sadducess about what he did. At the same time he did not hesitate to criticize their evil deeds and praised even his disciples when they did good. But whenever his disciples went astray he corrected them.

But how are we today? Many Christians are looking for shortcuts to please people.Even people who know God stumble in some work.

But in the coming days with the grace of God let us start walking in the straight path. Let The Holy Spirit help us in doing so.

Amen
