Gifts of Grace
We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.. Romans 12:6

Here Apostle Paul talks about gifts given to us according through His grace in Romans 12-6-8. These gifts are different to the gifts of The Holy Spirit given in 1 Cor 12. These are unique gifts given individually to all of us to live according to His will and to glorify God.
if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully. Romans 12:7-8
I went to a art shop near my house and a lot tools for drawing was there. When I was there God reminded me of a Pastor who draws about the issues in the present times and adds a relevant Bible verse to it. There is a saying that “A picture is powerful than 1000 words”. There was a cartoonist in India who drew against the present government who by his drawing stirred a big thinking and awakening in people and was jailed immediately after that and made him to stop drawing anymore. He was stopped because what he drew reached out to people. A image is very powerful and the image which has a the word of God which is power and life the Pastor drew enlightened many. It is gift of Grace (drawing) given to him which he uses it for the Glory of God.
There was a post in facebook I read before. There was a couple in UK who were drug addicts. Due to their excess drug consumption the child born to them was blind. A few years later the parents died because of their addiction. The younger sister of the late mother took the kid and the kid grew up with them. They were good people in Christ and they loved the kid very much. They taught him music and to sing. The kid was touched by their selfless and caring love and they guided the kid to salvation. When he was growing up he was sad that because he is blind and couldn’t reach out to people to share the love of Christ to many so that nobody would end up like his parents. He felt his blindness was big barrier in his life and was always worried about it. One day during his prayer God spoke to him why are you worrying about what you don’t have. I have given you my gift of Grace (singing) to proclaim me. Hearing this he was awakened and he began singing for The Lord. His singing and his testimony reached out to many and he led many young teenagers into Christ.
The Bible says in Romans 12:8 “ If it is showing mercy let him do it cheerfully”. Mother Theresa had this gift of Grace helping others and showing mercy. She didn’t preach the Gospel but she lived an exemplary life reflecting the love of Christ. She still stands as an example preaching the love of Christ to the non-believers as well and to us as well to exhibit the love of Christ in our lives.
When I was in DA2 meeting back in Jan 2022 I didn’t know why I was there. I am not a good writer or a preacher of the word of God. But when I had my turn to write , God helped me with the grace he had given me to write and explain the word of God. Since then God is giving me inspirations and revelations to write for DA2 to glorify Him.
We all have various gifts of Grace in the Body of Christ. It can be administration, serving, giving to the poor. Let us use these gifts to spread the fragrance of our Lord Jesus Christ, to glorify Him and lead people to Christ. Amen.
